In December of 2004 Ritsuko and I made another trip to Japan. It was my fourth visit there. We stayed with Ritsuko's parents in the Tokyo suburb of Kamifukuoka, except for a trip to an onsen (hot springs resort).
This is me trying to imitate the expression of a "Kappa" a frog-like mythical Japanese creature after which Kappa maki (cucumber sushi rolls) are named.

Ritsuko before we started in on the main courses of our teishoku (very elegant style) meal we had at the onsen (hot springs resort). We had been soaking in the hot spring pools right before dinner. Ahhh...

The street vendor I've seen on past visits at Akihabara Station was still there, and although most of the pictures I took of him this time turned out blurry, I did talk to him (through Ritsuko) and I've got a tape of the conversation that I would like to use in a song some time.
